Oh joy, oh rapture! Christmas can begin. The lights are up, the Turkey ordered and the gravy salt has arrived!
For those of us, the uninitiated, who dont come from Barnsley, gravy salt is apparantly the most necessary ingredient for great gravy. Thank you Les, for your continuing education of we ‘off comners’ I understand that gravy salt can be found at that great (Jowett) purveyors of comestibles, MORRISONS SUPERMARKET. Let the count down begin. And to those of you reading this in China – (and there are many): Sheng Dan Kuai Le – or as we say in Cheshire, 圣诞快乐

  1. As with dogs gravy salt is for life and not just for Christmas

  2. And you can buy it at the Co-op! Kathryn has bought some and we will report on its success after Christmas. Thanks Les!

  3. I’m still not tempted to buy any even though it’s in my local Morrisons. Maybe I need more persuasion, like a taste of the ‘superb’ gravy made by Les’s fair (and soft) hands! I’ll stick with my own gravy this Christmas.
    Merry Christmas to everyone.

  4. Les the gauntlet has been laid down.

Can you pick it up and supply some of this Nectar to Dianne so she can taste the error of her ways? 🙂
