We have had a fabulous time here on this gem of an island. No matter that you ‘across’ on the adjacent island have had the hottest October since records began, we have wrapped up warm against the mist and dampness to explore ancient towns, pretty lanes, castles and heritage villages.
Our welcome, by the members of the Isle of Man Classic Car Club and the help and advice from them has been magnificent. A more full account with specific details will follow. Thanks Isle of Man and all who have accepted our cards to log on here. Sue

Thanks to Sue for arranging this weekend for us all to enjoy (I know she insists that others were also involved but thanks Sue!)
We were very pleased and relieved that the ‘Yellow Peril’ performed so well after the service, MOT and engine oil leak cure at Daytona Autos (thanks to Ray Worrall and Tim) although she didn’t like those VERY steep climbs in the mist/fog on the TT course! Thanks also go to all Jowetteers who made the weekend so enjoyable and such a great experience. Did Kathryn or I mention that she last visited the Isle of Man when she was 16? Must have missed someone!
